Welcome to Soul Reflections

This is a space where I'll be sharing pieces of my own journey—what life has taught me, what I'm still learning, and the moments that have helped me grow.

There comes a point in life when you realize that healing isn't about becoming someone new. It's about remembering who you've always been beneath the stories, the wounds, the fears, and the expectations you've carried for years.

For much of my life, I believed healing meant fixing what was broken. As a registered nurse, I spent decades caring for the physical body. Later, my path expanded into energy work, intuitive healing, and spiritual practices that taught me there is so much more to healing than what we can see.

But the greatest teacher I've ever had has been life itself.

Life has gently—and sometimes not so gently—held up a mirror for me.

Through relationships, loss, joy, disappointment, love, grief, forgiveness, and moments I wish I could do over, I've discovered that every experience carries an invitation. Not an invitation to judge myself, but an invitation to become more aware.

I've learned that awareness changes everything.

It doesn't erase pain.

It doesn't make difficult conversations disappear.

It doesn't prevent heartbreak.

What awareness does is give us the opportunity to pause before reacting, to question the stories we've created, and to ask, "Is there another way to see this?"

That question has changed my life more than any answer ever has.

Soul Reflections was born from that realization.

These reflections aren't written because I have life all figured out. Quite the opposite.

I am still learning.

I am still healing.

I am still uncovering old wounds, recognizing unconscious patterns, and discovering new layers of truth within myself.

Some reflections will come from my own experiences. Others may be inspired by nature, a conversation, a client whose identity remains protected, a dream, a quiet moment, or something that unexpectedly opens my heart.

My hope isn't to tell you what to believe.

My hope is simply to offer a different perspective—one that might help you pause long enough to hear your own inner wisdom.

If one story helps you become a little more compassionate with yourself...

If one reflection helps you see a situation through a different lens...

If one question leads you back to your own truth...

Then these words have served their purpose.

Healing, to me, isn't perfection.

It's the willingness to remain curious.

To become more conscious.

To take responsibility for our choices without carrying shame.

To meet ourselves with honesty instead of judgment.

And to remember that growth doesn't happen all at once. It happens one moment of awareness at a time.

Thank you for walking this path with me.

May these reflections encourage you to slow down, look inward, and discover the wisdom that has been within you all along.

With love,

Debbie

Today's Reflection

Today's Reflection

Today I'm asking myself:

What part of my life is asking for greater awareness?

Where am I being invited to let go of an old story and see things with fresh eyes?

I don't need to force an answer. I've learned that awareness often begins the moment I'm willing to ask the question and simply listen.
